This position assists in managing a 300-acre park that includes a 31-acre fishing lake, 26 campsites, 4 housekeeping cabins, group lodging area, and a 3½-acre swimming lake. Job duties include acting as superintendent in the absence of the Park Superintendent, daily supervision of the maintenance and housekeeping staff, assisting in preparing budgets, managing inventory, and preparing specifications for major purchases.

This position manages major maintenance projects and revenue producing services, as well as directly supervising employees and participating in public relations outreach for the park. Must be able to successfully achieve at least a Class I certification as a Wastewater Treatment Operator through the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality once employed. A criminal background check and a driver’s record check will be performed.

Applicants must meet or exceed the following qualifications: The formal educational equivalent of a bachelor's degree in business, park management, hospitality management, or a related field; plus two years of experience in park management, including one year in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
