This position manages the facilities and operations of the park. Supervises employees, completes performance appraisals, prepares and approves work schedules, maintains performance files, and engages in the planning and development of the park. Prepares and manages the park budget, keeps financial records, creates reports as needed.

Location: Bull Shoals-White River State Park, Lakeview , AR
Supervises and performs law enforcement duties including park patrol. Conducts public relations work and gives presentations about the natural, cultural, and historic aspects of the park and its surrounding area. Preserves park resources to prevent the disturbance or destruction of the flora, fauna, and cultural remains. This position is engaged in heavy public contact daily. Requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to traverse rough terrain.

We are looking for a levelheaded business manager with excellent leadership skills, who is enthusiastic about resource management, and who enjoys public relations work. Minimum qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in park administration, parks and recreation management, natural science, or related area PLUS three years progressively more responsible experience in park management including one year in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
Minimum Qualifications: The formal educational equivalent of a bachelor's degree in business, park management, hospitality management, or a related field; plus four years of experience in park management, including four years in a supervisory capacity.
